I hold my watch up, look closely, and say:
I could die in five short seconds from now.

Then I count down until the counting's done.
But nothing happens and I am still here.

I tell myself I'm alive till I'm not
And to do something with the time till then.

Some day the fifth second will be my last.
Then please smile for me and count up to five
As the energy that is me floats off.
